How do you get to Point Roberts?
It is possible to drive, fly, boat, or even swim to Point Roberts. The Point has a small grass air strip, a very large private marina, and a 4 lane immigration station for motor vehicles, bicycles, and pedestrians. Swimming, although feasible, would likely result in an immigration fine for unlawful entry into the United States (unless you swam from Bellingham, Blaine, or one of the US gulf islands... 20 miles minimum). Under no circumstances should anyone walk across the border into Point Roberts except at the Border Station on Tyee Drive.
